**Organization-Markup** (auch Organization Schema) sind strukturierte Daten nach schema.org, die ein Unternehmen oder eine Organisation beschreiben, etwa Name, Logo, Kontaktdaten und Profile. Üblich ist die Umsetzung als JSON-LD.

## Was Google damit macht
Laut Google hilft das Markup, die Organisation besser zu verstehen und von anderen zu unterscheiden. Es kann beeinflussen, welches Logo oder welches Knowledge Panel in der Suche erscheint. Einen Anspruch darauf gibt es nicht.

Es gibt keine Pflicht-Properties. Google empfiehlt unter anderem `name`, `url` und `logo`, außerdem `address`, `contactPoint`, `telephone`, `email`, `sameAs`, `legalName`, `vatID`, `iso6523Code`, `foundingDate` und `description`. Das Logo muss mindestens 112 × 112 Pixel groß und crawlbar sein. Als Platz bietet sich die Startseite oder eine Seite wie „Über uns“ an. Prüfen lässt sich das Markup mit dem Rich Results Test.

schema.org kennt für Organization Untertypen wie Corporation, NGO und LocalBusiness.
