**Amzn-User** is an Amazon fetcher that loads web pages on behalf of users. Amazon says it supports user actions, for example answering Alexa questions that need up-to-date information.

## How does Amzn-User behave?

Because its requests can be triggered by users, Amazon says Amzn-User may not follow all robots.txt directives. That sets it apart from Amazonbot and Amzn-SearchBot. Amazon states that it does not collect content for generative AI model training, and it does not support `Crawl-delay`. Amazon publishes a separate IP list to verify real requests in server logs.

## Example

User agent as documented by Amazon:
`Mozilla/5.0 AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko; compatible; Amzn-User/0.1) Chrome/W.X.Y.Z Safari/537.36`
